19th Anniversary Dinner

We wish you health and happiness in the New Year! This Chinese New Year is a year for preparation. “Snake Sleeping in winter” indicates that a successful year is ahead as long as sufficient work is done to ensure that success.

On behalf of Charity Cultural Services Center (CCSC), we invite you to celebrate our 19th anniversary of working for the well being of our City by preparing its newest citizens: limited English proficient, recent Asian immigrant, children, youth and adults, for a bright and productive new future.

For 19 dramatically successful years, CCSC has provided essential education and acculturation services that have positively affected the lives of thousands of needy individuals. Our job placement services, in conjunction with our ESL classes and vocational training programs have maintained a 90% job placement rate. Our youth support services consistently surpass goals for improvement in GPA, social skills and self-perception, keeping these teenagers off the streets and out of gangs.

This fundraising event will be held on June 18, 2001, at 6:30 pm, at the lovely New Asia restaurant in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Our goal is to raise $100,000 in order to continue serving this vulnerable population. Your support is very important.

Dinner tickets are priced at $125 per person, and sponsor tables are available at $2,500. All contributions are tax deductible because of our 501 [c] (3) non-profit status.

Please respond with the enclosed form by May 25th, 2001. If you have any questions, feel free to call Ivy Wan at (415) 989-8224.

We look forward to breaking bread with you, and are grateful for whatever level of participation you are able to provide.
